THE PLAN:

To produce and develop a magazine, with it's own brand and identity based upon why the North of England is so great, and why it should no longer stand in the South's shadow.

A study in which I conduct research on the origins of the infamous i-D magazine, and trace back it's history to see just what happened over the years to make it the giant it is in the industry today, all presented in the style of the magazine I'm analysing. 

Every magazine needs an identity. This sections details the process I went through in order to develop my magazines brand, in order to create the brand it required.

One of the greats of the North, bursting with culture and activity. It would be rude to not do it justice with a good editorial. Click the header above to see more, in which I can only scratch the surface of what it has to offer, as there is so much!

In the age of technology, a good website is essential to any big company. In this stage I plan and develop a website for the Northernist, to promote and represent the magazine on a larger scale.

Alongside a website, a good app is the perfect addition to promote and sustain a brand. An effective one will grow loyalty, and help to grow the magazine, whilst being a good representation of what it is all about.

Filled to the brim with history and an extremely strong culture among it's citizens, Liverpool is a truly outstanding city, that has so much to unpack that it just needed it's own editorial. Click the header above to see!
